FreightProbe sells clearly labelled sponsored placements. It also loads Google AdSense display ads. It carries no affiliate links today; if that changes, this page will say so first. This page explains each one, because you should be able to tell exactly how a page you are reading is paid for.
Vendor links on FreightProbe are currently plain links and earn nothing. If a page ever carries an affiliate link, where a purchase after your click may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you, that page will say so and this page will name the programme.
Pages load Google AdSense, which may show display ads. Ads are visually distinct from editorial content.
We sell sponsored placements, and every one of them is labelled as sponsored on the page it appears on, with the outbound link marked rel="sponsored". A sponsor pays for the placement and for our time. A sponsor cannot buy a position, a rating, or a recommendation. If you can see it, it is disclosed; if it is not disclosed, nobody paid for it.
Our rankings and recommendations are never influenced by affiliate commission rates or by whether a company has paid us for anything. Pages compare products on published figures, as described on our methodology page.
